At Transfiguration Parish School, we seek to embark on a journey of learning through student-centered, hands-on learning. Through the implementation of the Creative Curriculum, our students are educated through various components of academic support. The Creative Curriculum seeks to promote the development of a child’s fine motor, gross motor and sensor skills. This is done through a unique blend of learning prompts.
Among these prompts include literacy, dramatic play, block play, manipulatives, art, sensory tools, music/movement, outdoor play and discovery science. It is through these areas that students are given a well-rounded education that formulates the foundation of their learning years; thereby teaching them to utilize the God-given skills they are equipped with.
